Vodafone UK Announce More 4G Access

Vodafone have today announced increased data allowances on their 4G network as well as now including 4G in all Pay Monthly agreements.

Vodafone UK will now be “giving Customers more of what they love” by automatically including 4G on all monthly contracts as well as larger data allowances.

“Our customers told us that they wanted more data and access to our 4G network, regardless of what agreement they are on. Whether they’re passionate about this season’s must-see boxsets on NOW TV, the latest tunes on Spotify Premium, or keeping up to date with all the action on Sky Sports Mobile TV, they can do thanks to our 4G network and bigger data allowances. With our new bundle structure and Fixed Price Promise, Vodafone customers have the flexibility and security to enjoy more of what they love safe in the knowledge their line rental cost will remain the same for the contract term, making Vodafone the network they can depend on.” – Cindy Rose, Customer Director (Vodafone UK)

Vodafone will hope that this entices more consumers to part with their readies for the soon to be released Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge devices that are available to pre-order now.

The Galaxy S6 is available from £44 per month giving Customers 4GB of data when trading in a Samsung Galaxy phone, whereas the S6 Edge starts at £54 per month with 8GB of data when trading in a Galaxy phone. These figures might seem high, however in order to obtain the latest flagship, consumers might prefer the higher monthly cost, to offset the alternative up front charge they’d incur with a SIM free option.

Is this something that would make you, as a potential customer, more interested in Vodafone’s services? Perhaps you still yearn for unlimited data options on 4G? Let us know in the comments section.
