Today Vodafone have announced two new devices to their line up available at budget prices; the Vodafone Smart Prime 6 and the Vodafone Smart First 6.

Today, flagships are where it’s at in terms of great hardware and experience in smartphones right? Well, that may have been the case 5 years ago, but the mid and low-end market segments continue to make progress and offer a very appealing proposition for those wishing to splash out a little less on their mobile tech.
To that end, Vodafone have announced two new devices to their line up.
Firstly, the Vodafone Smart Prime 6 is a 4G enabled device running Android Lollipop 5.0 and sports a Quad Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor running at 1.2Ghz, 1GB RAM, a 5″ IPS HD 720p screen as well as an 8MP rear camera and 2MP front facing camera.

Also announced is their Vodafone Smart First 6, a cheaper alternative to the Smart Prime 6. The Vodafone Smart First 6 is 3G only however, and delivers a Dual Core processor at 1.0Ghz, 4″ WVGA (800×480) display, 512MB RAM and a 2MP fixed focus rear facing camera. This device also comes with Android 4.4 KitKat and not Lollipop.
The Vodafone Smart Prime 6 has 8GB of internal memory whilst the Vodafone Smart First 6 has just 4GB.
The Vodafone Smart Prime 6 is available now at £79 on PAYG whilst the Vodafone Smart First 6 is available at £40 on PAYG.
