Monohm Runcible Finally Available For Pre-Order

Some time ago, over a year actually, the Runcible was unveiled at MWC in Barcelona. A lot of outlets latched onto it’s unique design and disruptive material choices. Fast forward and up until today we were wondering whether it would ever see the light of day. Fret not – Pre-Orders have arrived for the Runcible.

Pre-Orders Have Started

The Runcible from Monohm is now available to be pre-ordered via an IndieGoGo campaign, scheduled to ship in September 2016. Only in May we reached out to Jason Proctor, CTO of Monohm Inc to see how things were progressing.

All here are committed to death or glory on the Runcible project. We had a licensing issue which stopped us shipping in November — making hardware is like dodging cruise missiles. So we rebooted the hardware to something more future-proof and rebooted the software under AOSP, and so hopefully, as long as we don’t get hit by any more missiles, we’ll be running preorders in Q2 – Jason Proctor – CTO, Monohm Inc

In case you’re still unsure what we’re talking about, it’s a phone – a round phone.
