MobileTechTalk Libratone is always at IFA, and 2018 is no exception. This year they are announcing an update to their speaker line of products with the Zipp 2 and Zipp Mini 2, offering multi-room connectivity, up to 12 hours of battery as well as Amazon’s Alexa baked in.
Libratone, Now With Alexa
The Danish company bulked up its speaker line up, following on from successes like the Zipp Wireless speaker, with the Zipp 2 and Zipp Mini 2 at IFA 2018. These products continue to reaffirm the design language that Libratone is now recognisable for, with the leather loop useful for portability.
The Zipp 2 and Zipp Mini 2 both come with Amazon Alexa voice support included, which opens up Libratone customers to over 50,000 skills and home automation tasks available for the platform.

The 360° FullRoom technology claims to deliver a clear, weighty sound that will emanate from the Zipp 2 and Zipp Mini 2 in all directions making it perfect for a home living space, but you can, of course, take them out and about due to the built-in battery. Additionally, the Soundspace Link technology will allow up to 10 of these devices to be linked together for a multi-room audio experience.

The Zipp 2 and Zipp Mini 2 will debut in four colours; Frosty Gray, Black, Cranberry Red and Pine Green. These will be available from their Amazon store and will be priced at £279 for the Zipp 2 and £229 for the Zipp Mini 2.
