QNAP TBS-453A – Gadget Show Live 2016

We took a look at a lot of cool gadgets and technology at the Gadget Show Live 2016, with the QNAP TBS-453A being one of the cooler. This is an M.2 SATA SSD NASbook with Quad Core CPU and 4K support.

QNAP TBS-453AThe QNAP TBS-435A is a beast of a device whilst being compact. Packing in up to 4 M.2 SATA (6Gb/s) SSDs with 2 Gigabit LAN ports, 3 Gigabit Switch ports, 2 HDMI ports, 4 USB 3.0 and 1 USB 2.0 ports, as well as an Intel Celeron N3150 Quad Core processor with a burst speed of up to 2.08Ghz.

This device is near silent and has a wealth of features as you’d expect from QNAP, such as a comprehensive data recovery and backup suite allowing for snapshots and full RTRR (Real-Time Remote Replication) for a fuller redundant solution than you’d expect.

There’s no news on pricing and availability yet, but this unit won’t be cheap. It will be immensely capable though.
